It’s done, 2012 is over. And as a thanks to all my frequent visitors, finally a photo including myself on it. What do you think, how good do I represent the Stereotype of a German Tourist? I wish you all a “guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr” as we say in Germany. See you in 2013.
Bergamo, Bergamo, Bergamo. If you’re a frequent visitor of my blog you know how much I’m stressing the advice to spend vacation in Bergamo rather than Milan. You want another reason? Here you go. The view over the lower town of Bergamo, taken from the upper town. More information on the photo!
I already mentioned that I love Italy? I already mentioned that Bergamo is one of the best towns for me? Well, here I go again.
I wish you a Merry Christmas, and if you’re thinking about giving a trip to Milano as a present, think again about taking some of those days to visit Bergamo.
It’s been some time since the last photo of Bergamo. But everytime I’m processing photos from that time, I wish to go back to that place. If you see those mansions, don’t you imagine how it would be to live in one of them?
Bergamo is a magnificent small city in the north of Italy. It has a lot to offer and yet it’s not overcrowded by tourists. As you can get cheap Ryanair Flights directly there, I’m sure to come back there soon. Here on the left side you see the Entrance of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of many beautiful buildings in Bergamo.
