Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is the fourth largest cathedral in the world. It took six centuries to complete, and it surely is breathtaking when you’re standing in front of it. I can understand the people, that they built the whole city center around that building. Unfortunately during our stay we didn’t have any blue sky whenever we’ve been to the cathedral, so that’s the best I got.
Both times when I was in Milano it seemed to me that this shopping mall “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II” attracted more tourists than the big duomo next to it. It is so crowded in there even though there is nothing but expensive shops, fancy restaurants and… McDonalds. And even though it looks great, I don’t like that place as there are way too many people.
