I already showed you some photos from Bergamo, but this one is taken from the very top of Bergamo. The town is built in three layers. You’re starting at the bottom of the hill with the new town of Bergamo where we had our accommodation. Then you go up the hill to the beautiful old town of Bergamo and enjoy the view over the new town, the airport (It’s the cheap airport for Milano) and the mountains. But then there is still the third layer. You go up to what has been an old castle (Castello di San Vigilio) – this wall is one of the remains – and you have this wonderful view.
