I remember when I was in Prague and friends of mine from London were planning a flight back home, it got cancelled because of snow. Since then I know the definition of snow in London is a bit different from what we have in Berlin. Well, even though it might seem like it, this photo is not taken in London. Not even in England. It’s taken in Berlin, in Tegel at the Greenwich Promenade to be more precise. Reason why we have this phone booth here is the town-twinning with Greenwich.
Well, as an economist I obviously have to visit Canary Wharf once I’m in London. It’s the biggest European Financial District and offers work to about 90.000 people. If you want to complain about the Banking System in Europe, that’s the place to go 😉
I know, London is supposed to be rainy all the time, but I guess I was lucky. Last January I visited my friends and it was a wonderful sunny but cold weekend. We were busy catching up so I didn’t make a lot of photos and enjoyed the company instead, but this is one of the few I took anyways. More information on the photo!
