The sun going down behind the Concert Hall of Frankfurt (Oder). A building that I’ve never visited but yet seen almost every day when I lived in Słubice and studied in Frankfurt. As you can guess, the shot is taken from the bridge which is connecting Germany and Poland, a bridge I had to use quite often.
It took a while, but here we go, the first real photo from Frankfurt (Oder) on the blog. It’s the town where I studied for my Bachelor Degree. Actually I’m still studying there, but finishing soon so I only have to go there once a month or even less. The photo is taken from the bridge that connects Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice. Frankfurt (Oder) is right on the way from Berlin to Warsaw, so a lot of cars are passing it. But I never noticed before that evening how many planes are passing the region as well.
Today I show you a picture which is a bit unusual for my style. It’s from the time when the Canon Camera was very new to me and I just wanted to try some things to get familiar with the new functions. This is one of the shots from that time. I liked it immediately but didn’t publish it yet. It is one of the few shots without any HDR processing that you can see here.
The picture was taking from a bridge that is connecting Germany and Poland or the towns Frankfurt and Slubice. The church itself stands on the German side.
