Monument in Gdynia is not the best description you say? Well, there is not much more information I could get about that even though I was visiting Gdynia with locals. The only thing they could tell me, is that it comes from the communistic times. Close to it is the Joseph Conrad Monument, but I doubt that they are connected. Maybe you can help me with some information?
Old St. Alban is one of the oldest church buildings in cologne, mentioned first time in 1172. Today you find there a memorial for the parents of fallen soldiers. Unfortunately, the ruins are not open for public, so you can only try to take a shot through the fence.
My friends from London visited me in Berlin and so I had the chance to go a bit sightseeing in my own city. On our way we came by the Neue Wache (New Guard House) and the sun shining through the roof gave a good setting. Today it is the “Central Memorial of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Victims of War and Tyranny”. More information on the photo!
