Red Tree on Mallorca

It’s been a long time since I last posted a landscape photo from Mallorca. Well, don’t you dream about a vacation there just about now? I don’t know how it is in your place, but here in Berlin it’s so disgusting grey and cold weather that I would love to just hop on a plane and fly to some Island.

Valeggio sul Mincio

Valeggio sul Mincio (HDR)Valeggio sul Mincio, another place which I probably never would have seen, if it wasn’t for Couchsurfing. Our amazing host offered to drive us around Lago di Garda for a bit and this was the town he had in mind to go to. With only 15 thousand inhabitants, it sure isn’t a big touristic place to go to. And yet it was very interesting to see that place, an old place which origins go back 2400 years.

Sunrise in Desenzano del Garda

Sunrise in Desenzano del GardaGetting up at five in the morning when you’re travelling is hard, but has its advantages. Often you find locations where you only can get a good sunrise instead of a sunset. And, usually, you find a pretty quite environment. This photo I could take when we took a train early in the morning from Desenzano del Garda to Verona. We had to wait an hour for the train, so we tried to make the best of it.

Tumski Bridge, Wroclaw

Tumski Bridge, Wroclaw

The Tumski Bridge (Most Tumski) in Wroclaw, also called Lovers Bridge or Cathedral Bridge, leads to the Cathedral Area of Wroclaw. The name Lovers Bridge it got from the countless locks on it with which lovers are symboling their love. And the reason for the name Cathedral Bridge you can see in the background of the photo, the two towers of the Wroclaw Cathedral.
