A photo from the beginning of my HDR adventure. As you can guess, I ran a little bit out of time over the holidays, so I have to go a bit through my archive and show photos from the time when I was making my first little HDR steps. It’s nice to look back on them and see how much I learned in the last months. Wonder what new stuff I’ll learn in 2013.
That photo is taken from the old town of Sirmione. Castello Scaligero is what separates the old town from the shore. The whole area is incredible beautiful, only the masses of tourists have been disturbing. I guess next time we have to get up earlier in the morning.
We decided to cross the river to take shots from the sunset and the skyline of cologne. But the bridge also offered some interesting views. This one is taken just before sunset when the sky just started to get more colorful.
A photo my girlfriend did and I think it’s great. I like how the fence is in line with the horizon and the soft colors of the sunset. It’s taken on the southern end of the Greenwich Promenade in Tegel, Berlin. A place which is only two minutes away from our home.
With that one I got lucky. First of all: A nicely colored sunset. Second, Fishermen for something interesting in the front. Third, the green “Island” on the left (which isn’t an island, the boat was taking it out later back to the sea. Guess it just drifted to the port.). And all that in front of the famous riverside of Gdansk.
