When you’re in Venice, I know you want to visit the Saint Mark’s Basilica (Basilica di San Marco). Do yourself a favor and book a ticket online first. It costs you as little as a single Euro and you can skip the waiting queue immediately. And for those who haven’t been there yet: The queue is more than 100m long. But if you choose to wait at least you have the time to marvel at the beauty of the basilica from outside… and that’s where this shot was taken.
